The 5^th National Data Services Framework (NDSF) Summit is a forum where the Canadian research community can learn, collaborate, exchange ideas, and discuss common issues, with a goal of developing a shared understanding of the current data management landscape and recommendations for future initiatives. This year’s theme, Looking Back and Looking Forward, will provide an update on some key national RDM initiatives, and consider priorities for the next stage.

Research Data Canada has been funded by CANARIE since 2015 and will be fully integrated into The Digital Research Alliance of Canada (The Alliance) by the end of March 2022. With this important transition, the Summit will allow participants to reflect on past conversations, highlight important next steps, as discuss how the RDM community and services could intersect more effectively with other digital research infrastructure (DRI) components: advanced research computing, and research software.
