Welcome to our speaker series! The Ocean Allies speaker series aims to connect you with experts in equity, diversity, and inclusion topics to support you and Canada’s ocean sector!
What we’ll do: The first half of the session will begin with Emily opening the session with a bilingual presentation on ocean data equity, followed by an open and bilingual Q&A session! The second half of the session will give you an opportunity to network with Emily, and people within Canada’s ocean sector.

About Emily Charry Tissier: Emily is very passionate about the oceans, technology, data and environmental conservation. Emily is the CEO and Co-found of Whale Seeker. Emily is the Co-Founder and member of the Board of Directors for Nets for Net Zero, as well as a board member for The Whale Research Collective.
