For sixty years, researchers have used acoustic telemetry to study aquatic animal movement. Contemporary studies are increasingly complex in design, implementation, and analysis. This workshop series will present and discuss skills essential to conducting successful telemetry studies, drawing on and synthesizing the latest developments in technology, statistics, and network collaboration.
Designed for early-career researchers, this series will provide students, postdocs, and early career professionals the opportunity to expand their networks while receiving applied training in a dynamic environment. The workshop will conclude with a research rodeo and an open discussion session focused on generating new ideas to help push our discipline forward.
