About this event
The Mid-Atlantic Committee on the Ocean (MACO) will convene its fourth annual Mid-Atlantic Ocean Forum on May 5 and 6. The Forum gathers hundreds of ocean professionals and stakeholders representing federal and state agencies, Tribal entities, marine industries, nonprofit research and advocacy organizations, and the public. The free event will once again be held virtually.
The Forum opening plenary on Sustainable Ocean Management will kick off two days of exciting talks, posters, panels and discussion. Day 1 will emphasize Sustainable Ocean Ecosystems and set the foundation for Day 2 on Sustainable Ocean Economies.
In addition to the outstanding lineup of expert panel discussions and presentations, there will be pre-recorded on-demand video presentations covering a wide range of topics, with the videos to be posted on the Forum website and available for viewing throughout the event. There will also be a poster session featuring research from students and early career professionals on May 5.
