WATTS UP 2023 will be the first edition of the annual conference of the Maritime Battery Forum outside of Norway. The conference will be held at the SS Rotterdam, a 228 m long steam ship from the 1950s, which now is being used as a hotel in the city of Rotterdam. What better location is there to talk about maritime batteries than this? Besides the latest updates on the developments of batteries for the marine industry, as always we will also go on board of a battery powered ship. More about this will follow later!

WATTS UP is the annual 2-day conference organized by the Maritime Battery Forum. It is the place to get the latest updates on maritime battery technology developments, learn about different maritime applications using batteries, and meet with maritime battery experts from over the whole world. Standard on the agenda at WATTS UP is a visit to a battery powered ship, to get a real feeling of how the technology is developing, and to be able to see, feel and hear the benefits of electric propulsion on board ships.
