Dr. Morton harnesses her unique background in management, science and business, to lead a collective effort to solve the problems currently facing the world’s oceans. For over two decades she has dedicated her efforts at the intersection of industry, academia, and government - researching business practices that support improving ocean research. Throughout her career, Dr. Morton has coordinated project teams in 20 different countries, worked with more than 450 scientists and managed more than $190 million in project funding.
Kes’s connection to the ocean started at a young age, growing up in Atlantic Canada. Over her career, Kes has raised over 22 species of fish.
